Well, toast in the making.  Couldn’t resist another piece of not-quite-food-yet photography.

We walked round this field of ripe wheat on the sunny cliff tops of the North York Moors coast whilst on holiday near Staithes last month.  The acres of toasty warmth were crying out to be photographed.  

It will have been harvested by now.  Could be milled into flour and baked into bread any day.  It might already be turning warm and golden once again, in a toaster.  Bring on the melted butter, and I’ll get the camera.
